PR 48 – Eight strong teams aim at World League title in Budapest

Eight of the best teams in the planet are ready to contest in Budapest (HUN) the FINA Women’s Water Polo Super Final, taking place in the Magyar capital from June 4-9, 2019. The eight participating teams include the best of the Intercontinental Cup – United States, Australia, China and Canada -, but also the strongest European representatives – Netherlands, Russia, Hungary and Italy.

PR 47 – ASWS 2019: China dominates in Quebec; Ukraine and Russia shine in Barcelona

Action in the pool was intense this weekend, with two legs of the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series in Quebec City (CAN), from May 30-Junie 1, and in Barcelona (ESP), from May 31-June 2. They were respectively the seventh and eighth event of the circuit, before the Super Final of the competition, taking place in Budapest (HUN) on June 14-16.

PR 46 – FINA Champions Swim Series 2019 comes to an end in Indy as athletes love new concept

The inaugural edition of the FINA Champions Swim Series came to an end tonight (June 1) in Indianapolis, USA, after a three-leg circuit which stopped in Guangzhou (CHN), Budapest (HUN) and in the American city with a long swimming tradition.

Seventeen Olympic and 20 World champions (for a total of 50 of the world's best swimmers) battled it out at the iconic Indiana University (IU) Natatorium in 28 individual events and two mixed relays.

PR 45 - FINA mourns Vice-President Dennis Miller (FIJ)

FINA has learnt with immense sadness about the loss of its Vice-President Dennis Miller, from Fiji, who lost his brave fight against illness. Mr Miller was 61 years old and is survived by his wife and four children.

As an administrator working behind the scenes, Dennis Miller dedicated his career to the development of Aquatics in Oceania, but also worldwide, within the FINA family.

PR 44 – 17 Olympic champions gather in Indianapolis for ultimate FINA Champions Swim Series 2019

After two highly successful meets in Guangzhou (CHN) and Budapest (HUN), 17 Olympic and 20 World champions are ready to race in Indianapolis (USA) on May 31-June 1 for the ultimate (3/3) leg of the FINA Champions Swim Series 2019.

Between them, the 50 swimmers in Indianapolis, representing 15 NF, have won 54 Olympic medals as well as 146 World medals.

The innovative competition schedule at the famous Indiana University (IU) Natatorium includes 28 individual events as well as two mixed relays spread over two days. The schedule unfolds as follows:

PR 43 - ASWS 2019: Japan's Inui continues to impress in Greensboro

The sixth leg of the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series 2019 came to an end on Sunday evening (May 26) in Greenboro, USA, as Japan's Olympic star Yukiko Inui and Canada's discipline sensation Jacqueline Simoneau displayed constant and excellent results in the the solo technical and solo free events.

Veteran Yukiko Inui clinched the victory in both the events with 91.8795 points for her technical routine and 93.7583 points for her free performance.

PR 42 – HDWCup: fourth title for Hunt, second crown for Iffland

Gary Hunt (GBR) and Rhiannan Iffland (AUS) were the winners of the 2019 edition of the FINA High Diving World Cup, organised in Zhaoqing (CHN) on May 25-26. This was the fourth consecutive title for the British star in this event, while the Australian ace revalidated her 2018 crown. Hunt concluded his four-dive performance with 436.70, while Iffland was the best among women in 328.85 points.

PR 40 – DWS 2019: Great Britain triumph at home

The FINA/CNSG Diving World Series 2019 concluded on Sunday May 19 in London, Great Britain, as national heroes Jack Laugher, Thomas Daley, Matthew Lee, Daniel Goodfellow, Eden Cheng, Lois Toulson and Grace Reid clinched three gold, one silver and two bronze medals on offer to join Team China and Australia at the top of the chart.

PR 39 – Mixed podiums in Kazan's Diving World Series

The penultimate leg of the 2019 FINA/CNSG Diving World Series concluded on Sunday May 12 in Kazan, Russia, as Great Britain's Jack Laugher and China's Yang Hao topped the men's individual events and Canada's Jennifer Abel and DPR Korea's Kim Mi Rae triumphed in the women's springboard and platform events.
